MD Racing was established back in 2006 by Mike Dawson - a Ducati factory trained, Senior British Superstock Race Technician with nearly 15 years personal experience on the racing scene and in the workshop.
Due to Mike's experience with Ducati, MD Racing doesn't just rival any main Ducati dealer for expertise, you'll also find all of the specialist Ducati tools in the workshop, incuding the latest diagnostic computer.
Of course, Mike has more than a little help from an extremely talented team of experienced mechanics. Regardless of the make of motorbike you're riding, you're in safe hands.
The approach we take to our work is "no nonsense motorcycle servicing". We give honest advice and transparent pricing. No upsells. No surprises.
For anything more than routine service schedules, we can start you off with an hour in the workshop and full use of our diagnostic tools to pin down the problem. If we can fix your bike within the hour, that's all you pay. No extra "diagnostic fees".
If the fix requires more time or replacement parts, we won't start work without your say so. We'll let you know what we find, give you a clear cost for any OEM parts (and the aftermarket alternatives). It's your bike and your choices.
We're well positioned to the South West of London in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. We're not far from the M3 (J1 for Sunbury), the A3 (via Esher) or the A308 (just a few miles west of Hampton Court).
Head for Terrace Road (A3050) and as it takes you out of Walton-on-Thames and towards Hampton Court, you'll see the entrance to Sandy Lane on your right (next to Grovelands School).
If you reach a roundabout signposting to the Excel Sports Center, you've just missed the turning. Come back around the roundabout, dab your knee down while you're at it and head back. The garage is about hundred yards along Sandy Lane, on the right hand side (just after the turning to First Avenue).
From outside the M25, we're well connected to the A3, M3 and A308 (Staines By-Pass). If you're approaching from the south, you can get to Walton-on-Thames from either of the first two junctions of the A3 (for Weybridge or Esher), just inside the M25.
If you're coming from the north, your best approach is coming off the M25 on the M3 (towards London). Leave the M3 at J1 for Sunbury and follow the signs to Staines (A30), then towards Shepperton and Walton.
As you head towards Walton-on-Thames, you'll eventually come over Walton Bridge. Turn left at the lights and the road takes you through the center of Walton. Head straight and you'll be coming along Terrace Road towards Hampton Court. Sandy Lane will be on your right shortly after the shops (before Grovelands School).
